With nearly 20 years of artistic and photojournalistic experience, I strive to bring out the best in my subjects, humbled by the trust they place in me to capture their moments gracefully. Growing up in a small Nebraska town, living in rural Alaska, and exploring cities across Europe, I’ve become fascinated by people from all walks of life. My photography journey has taken me from LA to DC to Paris, and my background in dance has taught me the importance of movement, which I incorporate into my portraiture to convey emotion and personality. I hold a Master’s in new media photojournalism, which has sharpened my ability to document raw emotion candidly, telling a story through a single image or a coherent series. Fluent in French and Spanish, I earned a BS in Business and French Language & Culture and hold translation certifications. My work has been featured on magazine covers, in solo and group exhibits.
