I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Cinema from San Francisco State University. After many years of work (unrelated to films or photography) to earn a living, I decided to get back to creative works. I taught myself photography with the same discipline I learned as a film student. I also took photography courses (digital photography & photoshop) at San Jose City College and photography workshops with award-winning artists. The transition from cinematography to photography requires a lot of learning curve. It took me years to learn from world-renowned photography artists’ works to art pieces of the past (i.e., Rembrant, Van Gogh, & Monet) to understand photography’s art. My favorite moment to capture at a wedding is when people are used to me and ignore what I do.
