“Begin A Happy Marriage With Steve” That was the headline of an ad that I created in the early days of my wedding photography career. I felt that a bit of humor might help to ease the considerable stress that brides often undergo when they begin the months-long process of planning one of the most important days of their life…their wedding day. Since that ad first appeared more then two thousand couples have allowed me into their lives to create a permanent photographic/video record of the beginning of their greatest adventure together. It is my experience that each couple is unique and so requires special considerations to ensure that the images/video of their wedding day are as perfect as possible. I accomplish this in many ways but the most important to me is searching for that special something that makes them a couple. Once found, I use my deep knowledge of light and composition to capture the mood, excitement, and romance of their once in a lifetime day.
