I’m a lifelong New Yorker who has been capturing images with a sense of honesty and creativity for more than thirty years, running a successful photography business with a wide variety of wedding, corporate, non-profit, and editorial clients. In 1984, I became the first staff photographer for the New York office of Crain Communications. I left Crain’s in 1988, eager to shoot for a more diverse roster of clients. I think the portrait session is my fave. I get to control the situation with my lighting and the direction of posing. While photographing the action, I’m capturing what’s happening. During the portraits, I create what’s happening. I love helping the couples look as comfortable with themselves as can be on such a stressful day. Creating images that show the love and the playfulness that reveals who they are.
