About Naperville Riverwalk

Naperville Riverwalk was created back in 1981, to commemorate the 150th birthday of the city. But it looks like it was made for engagement photo sessions. Just look at photographs from Naperville, they look beautiful beyond belief.

The serene DuPage River will hypnotize you, for sure. And the bridges will make you feel like you are staring in a romantic movie. With a happy end, of course.

  • Relax – The first and the most important thing you should do is to relax. Once you and your partner are relaxed, everything else will come easy.
  • Make candid poses – If you are new to posing and don’t know how to do it, the best advice we can give you is to act natural. Don’t pose too much, don’t try to look like a supermodel, just be normal and natural.
  • Do something with your arms – The most awkward thing is when the model doesn’t know what to do with their arms. So, the best thing to not look awkward is to know where to put your arms. When you are being photographed with your partner, it’s easy. You can take their hand, hug them, or do something like that. But you can also have a prop with you, like a straw hat, for example.
  • Pick an outstanding outfit – You need to pick an outfit that will stand out in the photographs. The best way to choose a perfect outfit is to do it according to the current season. That being said, if you are having a spring or a summer engagement shoot, you can wear a colorful and breezy dress with an exciting print.
