Hi! Im JV, born and raised in the Philippines. I’m a photographer based in Boston, MA. My love for still photographs started at an early age when I first held a film camera. My passion for photography further developed when I studied architecture. I studied and analyzed the works of renowned architects and various artists through photographs. In 2011, I moved to the U.S. and studied Spanish and French. Learning these languages made my vision and approach to capturing photographs grow exponentially. I was able to travel and experience different cultures and art in different countries. I learned that in order to encapsulate great photography, communication is essential. After I graduated college, I moved to Boston and focused primarily on portraiture and fashion photography.
I currently photograph events and weddings and I love it! I love photographing weddings and witnessing authentic emotions, candid laughters, meeting new people and capturing love stories! As a story-teller, I capture moments documentary and candid style. Documenting these important events is both a huge responsibility and a privilege. In every click of a shutter, I record precious moments and memories that the couple will cherish.
