Hi! My name is Brandi and I have been shooting weddings for 9 years. I spent my first seven years shooting weddings in the wedding capital of the world Las Vegas, NV, where I shot about 500 weddings per year. This means I have shot thousands of weddings which has made me a well-rounded photographer who is ready for anything and everything. I have enjoyed taking photos since I was a kid running around with my Barbie Polaroid. I even managed to take some photos of family members’ weddings as a kid, and I still have the Polaroids to this day.
I have a BFA in photography from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have expanded my education over the years by attending photography conventions and participating in workshops to further my knowledge of composition and lighting.
I am an attentive detail oriented photographer and I always make sure my subjects are looking flawless during our time together. I tend to bounce back and forth between posed and candid photos while shooting. One of my main goals is to capture variety and make my couples feel comfortable in front of the camera so by mixing posed and candid together I feel it helps to keep things relaxed and natural. My favorite moments to shoot during weddings would have to be when everyone is on the dance floor having a good time, laughing, and busting a move.
