Elizabeth and Rick planned their wildly romantic wedding at the San Diego Zoo. Overlooking the Mombasa Lagoon in the Safari Park, they said “I do” and danced under the thatched roof and among the lush tropical foliage on Mombasa Island.

Unlike most couples, Elizabeth and Rick not only had to plan meticulously for their breathtaking day but also stay within the regulations of their untamed venue’s policies. Even with strict guidelines as to where they could stand and be photographed, our award winning staff was sure to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for the happy couple. Getting married in the off season has many benefits. Availability and lower rates allow couples the flexibility to plan within budget and without having to make sacrifices. Off season brides often find themselves with too many options. Being that a big wedding is something we usually do only once, it is important to know what you are getting and the real total cost. Our wedding consultant was able to provide out the door pricing for service the same day as Elizabeth’s consultation. Elizabeth was even able to see the work of each photographer for no financial obligation.Elizabeth & Rick’s tropical wedding day began with pre-ceremony coverage at their hotel. Next stop was the beautiful Safari Park at San Diego Zoo where as bride and groom they said, “I Do”. At the end of the day, their planning and preparation paid off.
