I grew up in Asheville, NC, and attended the University of North Carolina. My passion for photography began at age seven when my mom gave me my first camera. I specialize in capturing meaningful moments, whether it’s a sunset in a National Park or a groom’s emotional reaction to seeing his bride. My favorite moment to photograph is the “you may kiss the bride/groom”—a unique moment that can’t be replicated. With a journalistic approach, I focus on the small, unnoticed moments. My work has been featured in prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal, NY Times, The Georgia Voice, and more.
